The lodge, having been successful into entering the II Stage in the ritual working competition, completed it on the 27th November by having an emergency meeting. W.Bro. R. Krishnan occupied the Eastern Chair and an initiation ceremony was carried out. Bro. Ganesan Gopalan was inducted into freemasonry. The W. Master rendered all the portions and the ceremony went off very well. We wish him all the best to bag the award. We take this opportunity to welcome Bro. Ganesan Gopalan into the family of Mount Lodge.
On the 7th of December, the lodge celebrated Past Master’s nite and a second degree ceremony was worked on. The following W. Brethren acted as officers.

Bro. K.L. Balajee and Bro. Ravi Ayyangar were passed to the degree of fellow craft. Charge after passing was given by W.Bro. K.S.Sreekanth, South East Charge by W.Bro. R. Dwarakanath, Working Tools by W.Bro. V.S.Kylas and the Tracing Board was explained by W.Bro. R. Krishnan.
The Past Masters of the Lodge performed very well and it was educative for the younger Brethren of the lodge. W. Bro. Surya Narayana Rao of Lodge Om Vigneshwara attended the meeting . The fellowship was rife with lilting melodies.
Masonic funfest is scheduled to take place on the 5th of Jan 2003, and brethren are welcome with wife and children. It will start at 4 p.m,. and end by 8 p.m. Mount is sponsoring 3 stalls and be ready for fun and games.
The Regional Grand Lodge meeting is going to be held at Coimbatore on the 8th and 9th of Feb 2003. . Now-a-days, it has become a practice of Mount Lodge to go with family. Hence please plan your bookings in advance. W.Bro. Dwarakanath is making the travel arrangements and stay for the brethren of Mount Charity and is also willing to do it for our lodge. Both the lodges put together will have a sizable booking and the travel can be convenient. We have approximately worked out Rs. 1500/- per individual less registration.
